I Guess Ri-Ri's Plan Did'nt Work.
Mediatakeout says that Def Jam is in panic mode because Rihanna's album isn't selling. It could be the recession, or that Ms. Ri Ri has gone so dark that people don't understand her music and don't know what to expect. In an effort to save face, "Def Jam marked down her album price to $3.99 on Amazon...and they are having a meeting to decide whether to sell it as a .99 cent special on black Friday."
Even if the record doesn't sell at least she's still considered a style icon.
See God don't like

Young Money Tour
Gudda told newlilwayne.com: "Definitely got a tour starting, supposed to be anywhere in between the 10th and the 14th of next month…it's a Young Money/Cash Money tour. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be either as big or bigger. We don't take two steps back, you know every time we do something we try to keep moving forward, more progress every time we do something. So, definitely might be either bigger, if not on the same level as one of the others but it's definitely gonna be a big tour."
YM's album hits stores December 22nd.

Day 26 Doesn't Want To Be Bad Boys Anymore
"Bad Boy is always our family, but we're with Atlantic right now…we really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music. I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we're all about, that we do our thing whether it's on stage, in the studio, writing and producing -- we do it all."
The group is planning to release their next album sometime in 2010.

Doin’ Lines: Drake fills in ALL the blanks
This is some real shit. Drake sits down with XXL and fills in all the blanks. You can find this in XXL’s December ‘09/January ‘10 issue. Be sure to go cop it! What # is your favourite line? #19 is heartbreaking… no pun.
2. My solo debut album will be different from So Far Gone because I now have a different story to tell.
3. I wasn’t on XXL’s freshmen cover last year, and I was happy because it showed me what my team could do in one year.
4. Kanye West is one of a kind.
5. I like to put Lox and Light Cream Cheese on my bagel.
6. My mom said, “I remember her” when she saw my “Best I Ever Had” video.
7. I need a girl who understands life better than I do.
8. If I signed to Cash Money in 1999, instead of 2009, I would still have my original Cash Money chain.
9. The one thing I miss about Toronto, compared to anywhere else, is feeling so far away from my dreams.
10. TV groupies are different from hip-hop groupies because they don’t exist.
11. One thing I haven’t bought yet that I want to buy is patio furniture.
12. The greatest piece of advice I ever got was to write it all down as it happen, because eventually you become numb to it, and I got that from TIP.
13. When people compare my buzz to 50 Cent’s , I think, he’s gonna get ANNNNNGGGRRYY, like the Hulk.
14. I think weed is a nice occasional escape.
15. Fuck bitches, get money.
16. People thought I was dating Rihanna, and that was semi-true.
17. I’m scared to death of dying.
18. I love women who love money, unfortunately.
19. Kandice Henry broke my heart.
20. My most-prized possession is your girlfriend’s heart.

I Mean They Did Invent Sex...
Everybody knows about the glamour and glitz of the entertainment industry. All of the media exposure, fancy possessions, and love from adoring fans can seem really luxurious. A lot of the male artists show their female fans a lot of love, whether by dedicating songs to them, blowing them kisses, or things of such nature. Some of these chicks go as far as being labeled "groupies," as they have an obsession for their favorite male artists. Not the ones to back away, many artists have dated a fan or two.
Well it seems that Trigga Trey and Drizzy may have pulled a R. Kelley and Usher by messing with the same girl. The crew over at Blogxilla reported yesterday that Trey Songz’ New York girlfriend, Tanaya, and Drake have been hitting it off pretty tough as of late. They say that after she and Trey were cuddled up at Diddy's party, she let Drake hit. The source also says that she was with Drake at the Kid Cudi video shoot.
Now this shouldn't be a shock, as many male celebrities toss females around. It is what it is. Where the drama comes in is the fact that Trey doesn't know about this little secret romance and that Drake initiated the relationship, as he sent Tanaya freaky text messages as well as getting upset when she would be with Trey.
The main thing to wonder is how Trey will take this. True, Trigga has chicks on deck. Ladies love homie. This was supposedly his girlfriend, but many say that when they see Trey out at nightclubs that he's quite the flirty guy. Blogxilla even said that Drake told ole girl that his entire first album would be dedicated to her. It’s going to be interesting to see how the man who invented sex reacts to all of this. Oh and speaking of that, Tanaya supposedly has been telling her girls that Drake is better than Trey in the bed. Not trying to call ole girl out, but if this doesn’t define a groupie then what does?

Drake Reveals List of Wishful Collaborations
Drizzy desires to connect with a certain “Smooth Operator” for his full-length debut Thank Me Later, due in early 2010. “I really, really wanna do a joint with Sade,” he shares.
He also has another elusive rapper and a rock band on his short list. “I really wanna get André 3000 on the record. And I really wanna do a song with Kings of Leon.”
The “Successful” 23-year-old has already reached out to some of them about making his dreams a reality. “Yeah, slowly, but surely. We’ll see…”

Omarion Reacts To Being Replaced By Lloyd On Young Money Single
O was first contacted about remaining on the song or having someone else sing his hook. “I was contacted and they told me they wanted to potentially use my version of the song or have someone else sing it because I wrote the hook.”
In the end, his vocals and lyrics were swapped for Lloyd’s. “Lloyd did another hook. That’s what’s so interesting to me too,” he shared. “Technically people didn’t have to know that [I wrote the hook if Lloyd would've sang my version]. I didn’t go and tell nobody before the song came out.”
But Omarion still thinks he outshined his R&B counterpart. “Truthfully, I thought mine was better.”
I personally

Interview: Drake Speaks on "Thank Me Later"
One year ago, Aubrey Drake Graham was best known for playing Jimmy Brooks on “Degrassi: The Next Generation.” Fast forward to 2009 and the Canadian actor-turned-rapper has a No. 1 record (“Best I Ever Had”) and Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Eminem on his résumé. He’s also readying the most-anticipated debut from a rapper since 50 Cent with next year’s Thank Me Later. The Young Money rookie has been holed up in Toronto over the past couple months recovering from knee surgery, but checked in with Rap-Up.com for an update on his eagerly-awaited album.
How far along are you in the recording process?
I’m still in an early stage. This is my first album and it takes a lot for me to commit to a song and be like, “I like this enough that I’m gonna put it on the album.” Every artist will have their album list, like these are the songs I’m considering. It takes a lot for me to put a song onto that list. It’s gotta be a real great song. It’s gotta be something that I feel is timeless and is better than anything that I’ve ever done. Towards the end, you listen to it as a full body of work and start to appreciate certain songs that you may not have seen the vision for initially. I’m gettin’ there though. I’mma get it done. Next few months, it’ll be done.
Who have you worked with so far?
I haven’t really worked with that many people. I sat down with Pharrell for a couple days, but it was very, very early in the recording process, so I wasn’t sonically sure what I wanted. I’m about to sit with Timbaland. Kanye and me have a lot of work to do together, and then other than them, just [Noah "40" Shebib] and Boi-1da who did the majority of the mixtape [So Far Gone] with me.
There are reports that “Shut It Down,” featuring The-Dream and produced by 40, is the first single from the album. Is that true?
No, it’s not the first single. It deserves to be a single at some point, but it’s not the first single.
Have you selected a first single?
No, not yet. I have trouble doing that. I’d say I have about six songs done and to pick from just six is hard for me ’cause I don’t know what else is going to come. With So Far Gone, before “Best I Ever Had” became the single, the entire project was done and it just happened to be the most commercially viable, catchiest song. I like picking my singles like that. Now obviously my management hates that because that doesn’t give them much time to work it. But I’m a big believer that everything should happen organically and if it doesn’t then something’s not right, and I don’t really want to change my formula. Before I start working a single, I need to get about 10, 15, 20 songs done so I can pick from a batch of music as opposed to just committing to something right now.
Does the album have a release date?
Not right now, but I’m hoping for February.
